Read123’s special filter glasses for Visual Stress (sometimes known as Meares-Irlen Syndrome), are available in 31 standard colours as well as countless customised filters made on request).
They are ideal for use with the interactive whiteboard in classrooms, during exams, VDU or just multi-tasking with reading and writing and a much better alternative to coloured overlays. Coloured filter glasses for Visual Stress avoid the need to change the whiteboard colour to accommodate more than one pupil who suffers from Visual Stress. This way every pupil can enjoy the whiteboard!
Read123 filters are category 4 (the highest) for UV protection as we apply a special UV filter to all our lenses if needed by you. This means complete protection from harmful UV light when reading outside, especially for children who absorb the majority of UV light in childhood due to the physiology of their eyes. We place utmost importance on eye health.

All Read123 frames and filters/lenses are CE Standard and made to order specially in our lab. All our finished glasses come with a hard case and microfibre cleaning cloth. Optional extras like Hard Coat and UV400 coating are also available to help protect your lenses from excessive scratches and UV.

All glasses are quality checked by an expert before being shipped to our clients. Delivery is 14 days for the UK as filters are made to order, although express 5 day priority service is available. International delivery is typically 21 days.
